Strolling through the streets of New Orleans – Jazz bellowing from around the corner – beautiful people having the party of a lifetime – that’s what this tastes like. This is an outrageously delicious, supremely versatile rub and seasoning. Our Bayou Black is mildly spicy, peppery, garlicy with a hint of smokiness. We use 2 types of paprika, 5 species of peppercorn, 2 preparations of garlic, and 2 variations of onion. We also have a host of other premium, all natural herbs and spices that give this mixture an intense depth of flavor. We love to use this rub on chicken, salmon, steak, broccoli and alfredo sauce. This can really go on just about anything! Be sure NOT TO OVERLY BURN this rub (browned is totally fine) as the paprika will turn slightly bitter when burnt.
